Amnet positions for growth with new senior structure

Amnet, the programmatic agency for Dentsu Aegis Network, has appointed Luke Manley as General Manager, Victoria and Western Australia.

Manley joins from Mamamia where he was Victorian Sales Director, and prior to that, Group Sales Manager for Network Ten.

As incoming GM at Amnet, Manley will lead client development and strategy teams, driving optimisations and efficiencies to deliver increasing value for clients. He will manage regional media and data partnerships, support product innovations and facilitate deeper integration into the media businesses within the Dentsu Aegis Network.

Manley said, “The next few years will welcome immense growth in programmatic and I look forward to leading this talented team as we deliver the very best programmatic products, service and results to Dentsu Aegis Network agencies and clients.”

The announcement follows a broader shuffle of senior management earlier this year, including the former GM of VIC and WA, Catherine Smith to lead Product and Marketing, and the appointment of Richard Wheeler, former Commercial GM at Xaxis, to GM of NSW and QLD in February.

Amnet Managing Director Indy Khabra explains the realignment is an exciting step for Amnet; one that aligns business structure with strengths of the leadership team, provides more focus and efficiencies to better service clients, and propels the agency toward further innovation, development and expansion.

Amnet has undergone significant growth since it launched in Australia and New Zealand five years ago. As the industry landscape changes we continue to evolve our services and consulting capabilities while expanding our product offerings accordingly.”

“These moves enable the Senior Leadership team to be more agile; to be innovative and create bespoke products that drive value and results for Dentsu Aegis Network.”

The new leadership includes Nic Hawley leading Screen Strategy & Innovation, Mac O'Rourke leading Data & Operations, and Vikki Pearce leading Commercial & Investments. These changes support Khabra’s vision and business strategy following his appointment as Managing Director late 2016.

“Appointments of this seniority and calibre are significant for Amnet and it’s great to see the talent within Amnet grow with the business and progress to new roles and new opportunities,” said Greg Brown, President of Amplifi.

“As programmatic becomes increasingly important for the industry, we’re dedicated to investing in and supporting Amnet to continue to develop at a rapid pace. I look forward to seeing the team embrace the opportunity and deliver for our clients and agency partners.”

Amnet specialise in programmatic buying and the planning, analysis and activation of audience data, with more than 80 people across Australia and New Zealand.
