To mark International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8th March, we asked our people to make a personal commitment about what they will do to #ConquerTheDivide.

Gender equality is a responsibility that everyone shares and that all our people can have an impact on – both men and women. Dentsu Aegis Network is committed to gender equality and we believe in the power of diversity and inclusion.

Here are some of the commitments from our people:

Simon Ryan, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ:I will challenge our working groups and agencies to be focused on diversity of thought in everything they do.

Rebecca Tos, CEO, Columbus: I will challenge the unconscious bias we experience in the workplace and strive to be the best role model for other aspiring female leaders. 

Paul Brooks, CEO, Carat: I will commit to Carat leading the diversity agenda across Australia and New Zealand.

Clare Fernando, MD, Data2Decisions: I will support and promote a work environment which allows primary care-givers to prioritise family while still achieving their career goals.

Lloyd Doddridge, CFO, Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ: I commit to presenters at our Finance meetings to be equally split between male and female team members.

Belinda Murray, Client Services Director, BWM Dentsu: I will ensure all of BWM Dentsu Melbourne abide by our diversity principles and pledge for all of 2017 and beyond.

Luke Speers, HR Director, Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ: I will commit myself and my team to advocate equality for all our employees in everything that we do.

Robert Harvey, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network NZ: I will challenge our business and industry to deliver gender equality and diversity. 

Bonnie Mazaris, Digital Performance Director, iProspect: I’ll be an advocate for equality within our industry. Everyone should have access to the same opportunities.

Konrad Spilva, CEO, Isobar: This year, I will actively encourage diversity of thought through our agency, challenge bias and inequality at all levels and celebrate the achievements of women and LGTBI members in the agency.

Adrian Roeling, National MD, Dentsu Mitchell: I'll build a conducive, flexible work environment to enable a healthier work/life balance for women. 

Penny Davy-Whyte, GM, Dentsu Mitchell: I will support all Dentsu Mitchell mums to balance their career with family life.

Paul Williams, CEO, BWM Dentsu: We commit to increasing the breadth of diversity in the business.

Catherine Krantz, GM Melbourne, Carat: I will commit to ensuring that we have equal pay for equal work in our agency.

Greg Brown, President, Amplifi: I’ll be an advocate for equality within our industry.

Adriana Colaneri, MD, The Story Lab:I’ll nurture female talent at DAN and champion their career aspirations.

Mitch McBeath, GM NSW & QLD, Columbus: I’m going to continue to challenge bias and inequality which leads into how we recruit.

Emma Burn, EA to the CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ: I’ll be an advocate for an inclusive environment for all.

Adam McLeod, Project Director, Isobar: I’ll develop and grow the next tier of female leaders.

Trish O’Connor, Organisational Effectiveness, Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ: I will support our amazingly passionate Australian D&I Committee as they drive positive change through our business.
