Dixie Marshall to lead The Story Lab Perth
Dentsu Aegis Network is proud to announce the launch of The Story Lab in Western Australia, led by Dixie Marshall as Head of Creative and Partnerships.
The Story Lab is Dentsu Aegis Network’s global premium entertainment content business that invests, produces and distributes brand aligned storytelling solutions. Globally and nationally, The Story Lab has built a strong reputation for attracting and engaging audiences with premium entertainment content through new innovative models outside of traditional advertising, and will be unique in Western Australia.
Dixie Marshall will take charge of the business from the 27th of April. With a career spanning three decades Dixie has unparalleled experience in story-telling. Already well known to the West Australian community Dixie has previously worked as a broadcast journalist, as Director of Strategic Communications and Media in the Western Australian State Government, and prior to that as a senior newsreader and journalist for Channel 9, Perth.
Managing Director of The Story Lab Australia Adriana Colaneri said, “We are excited to welcome someone of Dixie’s calibre and experience to lead our Perth team. Dixie is a highly accomplished individual with outstanding credentials to help us deliver unique content solutions to our clients and drive future growth for The Story Lab as we venture into new frontiers”.
Reporting to Adriana Colaneri, Dixie says she can’t wait to get her feet under the desk, ”This is a fantastic opportunity to do what I love – tell splendid stories, across a range of modern platforms, to really engage audiences. I hope we can create beautiful and original content which perhaps will solve a problem, or sell a product, inspire, excite, entertain, even make your heart sing.”
Dixie will lead the Perth team as it expands its footprint in Western Australia and integrates its services across Dentsu Aegis Network’s local and global brands. The launch of the new agency further reinforces the network’s ongoing commitment to the Perth media and marketing industry and follows an exceptional twelve months of growth for the network in Perth.
The announcement follows Adriana’s appointment as Managing Director of The Story Lab in February, and forms part of The Story Lab’s evolved positioning and product offering.
